I wanted to play with images and sound to create an experience that is abstract and provokes emotion.
There’s something about juxtaposing image and sound that tickles my fancy; and this attempt is both homage to the great Oskar fischinger, and a fulfillment of a childhood dream ever since watching Fantasia to create my own music/animation piece.
I started with composing original music. Painted watercolor swatches, set up and filmed a fish tank of ink drops, along with stock track mattes and then put everything together in AfterFX.
